Care Guidelines

Caring For Your Soy Chronicles Products

Candles:

  • Most fragrances will burn across the entire surface within 2-3 hours, some will do this on the second and third burn depending on the temperature of your room. Do not burn for more than 5 hours at a time.
  • Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Keep your wick trimmed to about 1 cm.
  • Once the wax falls below the half-inch mark, stop burning!

Melts:

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight or frost.

Room/Linen Sprays:

  • Please read the guidelines on the back of the bottle. DO NOT spray directly onto clothing/fabric, must be from a distance. Some materials are too delicate and should be avoided such as silk, satin etc.
  • Please avoid spraying on timbers and porous materials and be careful on flooring as it may become slippery.
  • These sprays have ingredients that have a 6 month use by date, please discard after 6 months.

Hanging Diffusers:

  • To use the diffuser, take off the wooden lid and remove the clear cap. Screw the wooden lid back on tightly and tip the diffuser upside down to infuse the wood with the fragrance. Tip the diffuser upside down to soak the wood every few days to maximise the fragrance throw.
  • On occasion the oil can slightly soak the rope, if this occurs, ensure the rope is not touching other materials. Clean up spills immediately.
  • If you are using the diffuser in your car or near a window, please ensure that you monitor temperature of the glass. Should not exceed 30 degrees, as the glass integrity decreases and could result in the glass breaking and leakage.
  • Store in a cool dry place and with the cap on to ensure longevity of unopened diffuser.

Reed diffusers:

  • Once you have removed the storage cap, place reeds into the bottle.
  • Every few days, turn the reeds over and place the opposite end into the solution. This will result in a better scent throw.
  • Read the warning label on the bottom of the reed diffuser bottle.
